Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (SOVA)

  • Lectures: 28

The Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults course will give you an understanding of why safeguarding vulnerable adults is so important for everyone within your organisation.

You will be able to identify which adults that are most at risk of abuse and how early recognition of signs and intervention can minimise this abuse taking place.  You will be able to respond appropriately to concerns and disclosure from vulnerable adults and the correct steps to take in reporting any concerns.

Finally, you will have an understanding of the steps within the safeguarding process once a referral has been made to adult social care.

The course consists of 5 modules, each with an evaluation to be completed on finishing each module.
